And so we start once more

Two thoughts from the first reading of the year in
Sister Stanislaus Kennedy's book, Gardening The Soul

...

A winter garden is like the dark corners in our
hearts which we try to ignore.

It is the silent sanctuary of our own hearts that we make room for the transforming power of love to grow within us and radiate through us

(Sister Stanislaus Kennedy)

Allow your judgements their own silent undisturbed development,
which like all progress must come from deep within
and cannot be forced or hastened.
Everything is gestation then birthing.

(Rainer Maria Rilke)

  5. be
    hugged
    in the dark
    this year
    may that
    in you
    which bares
    the marks
    of death
    live
    thank you
    for the always
    too short
    time together
    parting some where
    under the rainbow
    makes us feel
    how real
    love is x
