On Saturday night I had the real privilege
of joining birthday celebrations for
along with The Big One and Spaghetti Arms,
at The Barking Dog restaurant
P.R.S. actually introduced it to me last year
and I have been back quite a few times since
The atmosphere there is always so much fun,
(helped along by good company
and a couple of bottles of wine ... of course ...)
candlelight and good music,
and the decor is quirky and tasteful without trying too hard
- they manage to strike a really good balance
Despite the late hour,
I opted for the delicious steak and chunky chips
and champagne jelly with berries and ice cream
yum
